김애영 작가와 협업으로 제작된 KING KROACH의 인센스 챔버는
도자기 조형 기법을 기반으로
형태를 하나씩 직접 다듬으며 제작됩니다.
표면의 흐름, 뿔의 곡선, 살아있는 듯한 질감까지
손의 압력과 시간의 흔적이 그대로 남아 있으며,
같은 형태라도 미세한 차이를 가지는 단 하나의 오브제로 완성됩니다.
단순한 향 도구가 아닌
공간 안에 존재감을 만드는 조형물로서 제작하고 있습니다.
Until a single form is completed,
every step is built entirely by hand.
Created in collaboration with artist Kim Aeyoung,
KING KROACH’s incense chamber is crafted using ceramic sculpting techniques,
with each form carefully shaped and refined by hand.
From the flow of the surface and the curves of the horns
to the almost living texture,
every piece preserves the pressure of the artist’s hands
and the traces of time.
Even pieces of the same design contain subtle differences,
resulting in a one-of-a-kind object.
More than simply a tool for burning incense,
it is created as a sculptural object that brings a strong presence into a space.
