Was 🤞 thinking this stone was sapphire for a moment since I sourced it from Umba Tanzania . Looks orange to pale grey on Natural lighting but turns Red on Uv light.

That gave some sapphire vibes from the start and the very slight flaws inside were proving me right, scratched it with my garnets just to prove which was tougher in hardness and again was right .

Decided to take it to the lab and came out as Spessartine garnet 😳, never seen spess this color but they know better and I’m learning everyday 😎. To be on the safe side with my customers I decided to sell it as Dragon garnet .. JUST BECAUSE OF THE FLUORESCENCE EFFECT !
