Introducing playful one-of-a-kind card holders specially presented for Kaoru Saito’s current exhibition at our store.

_Card Holder “Jeje” ‐ Walnut Bark

These card holders are woven from walnut bark, a material known for the natural contrast between its outer and inner colors.

Each piece has a different size and shape, giving them the feeling of small objects rather than uniform holders. Even when simply placed on a shelf or table, they bring a light and enjoyable presence to the space.

Cards and notes can be slipped into the wire loop at the top. The wire is intentionally attached with a slight movement to it, and can also be gently bent into different angles depending on how you would like to use it.

Placed in an entryway, on a desk, or hanging on a wall, they quietly add a small sense of fun to everyday surroundings.

Introducing a one-of-a-kind basket specially presented for Kaoru Saito’s current exhibition at our store.

_Handled “Wave” Basket Large ‐ Akebi Vine

This large handled basket is woven from Akebi vine using a weaving pattern called seigaiha, inspired by the movement of waves. The flowing pattern gives the basket both strength and softness, and the name “Wave Basket” comes from this distinctive weave.

The large arched handle is made from the inner core of wild grapevine after the bark has been removed. It is a material rarely seen in this form, supporting the structure while adding its own unique presence.

It can be used for holding fruit, or simply placed in a room as part of the space itself. The combination of Akebi vine and wild grapevine creates a texture that continues to draw the eye over time.

Bread Basket ‐ Gray Akebi Vine

This item has just been restocked.

This basket is woven from akebi vine that has been stripped of its outer bark using hot spring and river water. It has a soft gray tone, different from the natural brown of untreated vine.

The weave is a tight, regular pattern known as nami-ami, creating a clean and balanced structure. The smooth surface feels gentle in the hand, and its color shifts subtly between pale gray and white depending on the light.
