Since 2019, Dior and Venetian Heritage have celebrated and perpetuated a tradition of exceptional balls in Venice. On 9 May 2026, a new chapter was written with The Casino Royale Ball.

Continuing their joint efforts to preserve the Venetian artistic legacy, this gala supported the restoration and reinstallation project of the Ca’ d’Oro, a state museum under the authority of the Italian Ministry of Culture.

True to this enduring alliance, Venetian Heritage and Dior honour the deep affinities uniting France and Italy,
and extend a fruitful dialogue shaped by beauty, transmission, excellence and sharing.

Il direttore delle Gallerie dell’Accademia di Venezia, Giulio Manieri Elia, e il direttore di Fondazione Venetian Heritage, Toto Bergamo Rossi, raccontano il restauro della Pala di San Giobbe di Giovanni Bellini: un progetto esemplare di collaborazione virtuosa tra pubblico e privato.
Un intervento straordinario che prende vita sotto gli occhi dei visitatori grazie a un cantiere aperto, offrendo un’esperienza unica e ravvicinata con il lavoro dei restauratori.
Il progetto è finanziato dalle Gallerie dell’Accademia di Venezia e da Fondazione Venetian Heritage, con il sostegno di Roger Thomas e Arthur Libera.

The Director of the Gallerie dell’Accademia di Venezia, Giulio Manieri Elia, and the Director of the Venetian Heritage Foundation, Toto Bergamo Rossi, present the restoration of Giovanni Bellini’s San Giobbe Altarpiece: an exemplary project of virtuous collaboration between the public and private sectors.
An extraordinary intervention that unfolds before the eyes of visitors thanks to an open restoration site, offering a unique, close-up experience of the restorers’ work.

Per la prima volta alle Gallerie dell’Accademia di Venezia, un grande restauro si svolge sotto gli occhi del pubblico:

È iniziato il primo restauro integrale della monumentale Pala di San Giobbe di Giovanni Bellini, uno dei vertici assoluti del Rinascimento veneziano. Il cantiere, allestito direttamente in sala con grandi finestre sull’area di lavoro permetterà ai visitatori di seguire dal vivo il work in progress dell’intervento, osservando da vicino le diverse fasi di studio, analisi e recupero conservativo dell’opera.

Il progetto è finanziato dalle Gallerie dell’Accademia di Venezia e da Fondazione Venetian Heritage, con il sostegno di Roger Thomas e Arthur Libera.

For the first time at the Gallerie dell’Accademia di Venezia, a major restoration is taking place in full view of the public:

The first complete restoration of the monumental San Giobbe Altarpiece by Giovanni Bellini, one of the absolute masterpieces of the Venetian Renaissance, has begun. The worksite, set up directly in the room with large windows overlooking the working area, will allow visitors to follow the project live, observing up close the different stages of study, analysis, and conservation treatment of the artwork.
The project is funded by the Gallerie dell’Accademia di Venezia and Venetian Heritage, with the support of Roger Thomas and Arthur Libera.

Dear Friends,
Today, together with the Italy’s Liberation Day, we celebrare the Feast of St. Mark, Saint Patron of Venice.
We gift Venice with the rose bud, showing once more the love that bond Venetian Heritage to the timeless beauty of the city, that we aim to safeguard and promote with our mission and your support.
Do you know the rose bud tradition’s story?
In this day is it custom for men to give a rose bud to their beloved woman in memory of the love story between Maria, daughter of Doge Orso Partecipazio, and Tancredi, a men of humble origins who wanted to marry Maria. In order to do that, he went to war with the hope to cover himself with glory. However, the fate had different plans. Tancredi died but before his last breath he was able to give to Orlando, one of his companions, a rose bud for Maria.
