Come racconta Gioia De Simone, tutto ebbe inizio con un antenato che, dopo il suo apprendistato, aprì nei primi anni dell'800 una propria bottega. Da allora, il nome Antonino De Simone e la conoscenza di quest'antica arte si sono tramandati nel tempo, preservando un patrimonio familiare unico.

As Gioia De Simone says, it all began with an ancestor who, after his apprenticeship, opened his own workshop in early years of 1800. Since then, the name Antonino De Simone and the knowledge of this ancient art have been handed down from one generation to another, preserving a unique family heritage.
