BLUE ROCK RING

A sculptural expression of masculine elegance, the Blue Rock Ring combines the depth of burnished white gold with the intensity of blue enamel, creating a striking setting for an oval-cut aquamarine.

I have always been fascinated by aquamarine, a gemstone that shares its mineral origin with emerald. Both belong to the beryl family, yet different environmental conditions during their formation give rise to two of the most distinctive colours in fine jewellery: the deep green of emerald and the serene blue of aquamarine.

At the centre of this creation, a 2.00-carat aquamarine is framed by 18k burnished white gold and illuminated by brilliant-cut white diamonds. The blue enamel enhances the stone’s colour, while the dark finish lends the ring a bold, contemporary character.

Custom-made in size 56 as a men’s pinky ring, Blue Rock explores the balance between strength, colour and refined craftsmanship.

A NEW EXPRESSION OF FINE JEWELLERY

A sculptural necklace that brings together the elegance of a silk scarf and the distinctive character of a tie, reinterpreted through precious materials and contemporary design.

Rose gold, multicoloured tourmalines in rich autumn hues, and white and canary diamonds create a sophisticated interplay of colour, texture and light. The necklace culminates in smooth tourmaline drops, adding a tactile element to the design and inviting a more personal connection with the jewel.

RENZO PIANO — THE INSPIRATION BEHIND MY STAND

For this year’s Roma Jewelry Week Monica Cecchini, I chose to dedicate my stand to Renzo Piano, an Italian cultural figure whose work has inspired me for many years.

What I admire most is his way of observing nature, people and the environment, and translating these observations into architecture through an ongoing exploration of form and materials. His buildings are deeply connected to their surroundings, while remaining innovative and unmistakably contemporary.

This approach is close to the way I think about jewellery. I often look to architecture, nature, movement and the Italian landscape as starting points, then translate these impressions into a different language through form, materials and craftsmanship.

Renzo Piano represents for me a particular idea of Made in Italy: a culture of excellence that combines creativity, experimentation and respect for craftsmanship.

For my stand at Roma Jewelry Week, his work became the starting point for creating a space dedicated to this dialogue between architecture, jewellery and Italian culture.

ROMA JEWELRY WEEK 2026

This October, I am pleased to take part once again in Roma Jewelry Week Monica Cecchini an event that brings together Italian jewellery, art, design and craftsmanship in the heart of Rome.

This year’s theme, “The Crown of Ingenuity”, celebrates 80 years of Italian creativity and cultural heritage, looking at the people whose vision has shaped the country’s artistic identity throughout the history of the Italian Republic.

For my participation, I have chosen to dedicate my stand to Renzo Piano, whose approach to architecture has been a meaningful source of inspiration for my own work. His sensitivity to nature, people, materials and the surrounding environment resonates deeply with my way of approaching jewellery and its relationship with Italian culture.

I look forward to presenting my work from 9-11 October at the Corsie Sistine of Santo Spirito in Sassia, Rome.

A bespoke interpretation of the Wave Collection, created in white gold, diamonds and sapphires.

Designed around the client’s individual style, the necklace features a sapphire placed near the clasp, allowing the jewel to remain refined and beautifully considered from every angle, including from the shoulder.

A piece that reflects the value of bespoke jewellery: personal, precise and entirely handcrafted in Rome.

SVEVO CASTLE RING

The Svevo Castle Ring draws from the monumental character of the Swabian Castle, translating its architectural presence into a bold, continuous form in gold. Its compact geometry retains a sense of movement, while a precise line of white diamonds introduces light and contrast to the composition.

The result is a jewel where architecture, material and light become one continuous expression. Rooted in the Italian Castles collection, the design brings the strength of historic architecture into a distinctly contemporary piece of fine jewellery.

BEES

The Bee Collection is an exploration of one of nature’s most remarkable forms. I have always been fascinated by the bee not only for its beauty, but for the precision, intelligence and sense of purpose embodied in such a small creature.

Its place within a larger ecosystem, its extraordinary ability to work collectively, and above all the remarkable geometry of the honeycomb have all influenced the way I approached this collection.

I chose to translate these qualities into jewellery with a distinctly contemporary character, turning an everyday symbol of nature into a refined expression of form, craftsmanship and individuality.

WHEEL RINGS

The Wheel Rings explore the relationship between repetition, colour and personal expression. Their circular form creates a simple, distinctive silhouette, while the choice of gemstone gives each version its own character.

Emeralds, brown diamonds and amethysts offer three different interpretations of the same design, allowing the jewels to be worn individually or layered together in a more personal composition. Each piece is designed around the stone, giving it the space to define the character of the jewel.

VILLA BORGHESE EARRINGS

A fragment of Rome, captured in colour.

The Villa Borghese Earrings translate the atmosphere of one of Rome’s most celebrated gardens into a composition of sinuous white gold and layered shades of green.

Peridot, tsavorite and green tourmaline bring different depths of colour and luminosity to the design, evoking the richness of Rome in bloom. The flowing lines of the gold create a sense of movement, echoing the organic forms of the garden while retaining a distinctly sculptural character.

More than an homage to a place, the jewel is an interpretation of Roman beauty through colour, form and craftsmanship.
