Every piece in We Wear Art is woven in certified organic silk, finished entirely by hand. A share of each purchase is donated to the Opera del Duomo di Orvieto, the body that has cared for the Cathedral for centuries, so its art can be preserved for those who come after us.

Esiste un luogo dove l’aria non trattiene nulla, e il colore è semplicemente sé stesso.
Da lì il nome della collezione.

Qui il sole tardo trova una sola pietra e scalda la stanza intorno. Nulla si aggiunge. Nulla si spiega. La luce arriva, e il citrino risponde.

On some skin it deepens, it burns, it becomes something you cannot look away from. The amethyst, the green spark of peridot, the two small points of diamond: a drop that moves when she moves.

In the clear air of Manali, colour tells the truth. So does this.

La luce non cade allo stesso modo su tutti.

Su certa pelle si fa profonda, arde, diventa qualcosa da cui non riesci a distogliere lo sguardo.
L’ametista, la scintilla verde del peridoto, i due piccoli punti di diamante: un pendente che si muove quando lei si muove.

Nell’aria limpida di Manali, il colore dice la verità. E così anche questo.

Some stones do not glow. They think.

Cut into facets, they break the afternoon light into planes of colour, some caught by the sun, some in shadow: the deep violet of amethyst, the clear gold of lemon quartz. Alive from within, never on the surface. Two cuts, one idea.

A quiet stone, for a woman with nothing to prove.

Certe pietre non brillano. Pensano.

Tagliate a faccette, scompongono la luce del pomeriggio in piani di colore, alcuni presi dal sole, altri nell’ombra: il viola profondo dell’ametista, l’oro limpido del lemon quartz. Vive dall’interno, mai in superficie. Due tagli, una sola idea.

Una pietra silenziosa, per una donna che non ha nulla da dimostrare.
