Okay so I genuinely don’t know how to say it, but I have to share this before my brain fully processes it and I collapse on the studio floor🫠🙈
I have been invited to be part of the next exhibition
Yes. THAT one. 🥹
My work will be exhibited at the Museum of Art and Design in New York🫠
I’ve been sitting with this news for a little while now, and my very clever way of coping has been to just… {try} not think about it. Instead I’ve been working. A lot. An almost ridiculous amount. Hands busy and in pain, brain blissfully confused, firmly planted in a state of beautiful denial😌🫧 — because if I actually stop and fully absorb what is happening, I am fairly certain my heart will simply give up💥🙈
This craft has given me so much.
The late nights, the tiny details, the pieces that felt impossible until they weren’t, the collaborations, the travels, the people I met along the way — and somehow all of that led here. To this. Something I could never have imagined.
To everyone who has worn or gifted something I made, left a kind word, or just quietly followed along — thank you. Truly. You are woven into this moment more than you know. 🥹
To the incredibly inspiring and force of nature , director of MAD about Jewelry — thank you for the dedication in supporting and celebrating international creators and for this unbelievable chance♥️
Now back to the bench, where I will continue to NOT think — just workworkwork for this exciting-scary new adventure.
One deep breath — and sawing and hammering etc. — at a time🔥⚒️🪚✨
{last photo: my brain, clearly}
P.S. Please forgive me but all new workshops and classes are closed🔒 until the end of May.
