Nello stretto specchio d'acqua tra Sicilia e Calabria, Ionio e Tirreno si incontrano senza mai fondersi del tutto. Da questo scontro nascono correnti marine con un nome proprio: ‘muntanti’ quando risalgono verso nord, ‘scinnenti’ quando ridiscendono verso sud.�
Un fenomeno così potente e imprevedibile da aver generato, nell'antichità, il mito di Scilla e Cariddi: due mostri ai lati opposti dello Stretto, a guardia di un passaggio che nessun navigante attraversava senza timore.
Oggi, guardando a quelle stesse acque, disegniamo pendenti e bracciali che portano il nome delle correnti e la memoria del mito. Gioielli pensati per chi porta il Mediterraneo addosso, non solo come immagine, ma come appartenenza.

In the narrow stretch of water between Sicily and Calabria, the Ionian and Tyrrhenian Seas meet without ever fully merging. This collision gives rise to sea currents with their own names: ‘muntanti’ when they flow northwards, ‘scinnenti’ when they flow southwards.
A phenomenon so powerful and unpredictable that, in ancient times, it gave rise to the myth of Scylla and Charybdis: two monsters on opposite sides of the Strait, guarding a passage that no sailor would cross without fear.
Today, gazing upon those very same waters, we design pendants and bracelets that bear the names of the currents and the memory of the myth. Jewellery designed for those who carry the Mediterranean with them, not merely as an image, but as a sense of belonging.
