THORNS OF LIGHT

Before it became a jewel, I dreamed of it.

In that dream, there was Jesus.
There was His crown of thorns.
And there was a child.

The next morning, I woke up and picked up a pencil.

I drew it.

And from that moment, I began turning that dream into something real:
100 grams of 18K gold,
5.50 carats of VVS F round-cut diamonds.

But the true meaning of this jewel is not in the gold.
It is in the thorns.

Because thorns represent everything that can hurt us, test us, and change us.

I chose to transform them.

Into light.
Into beauty.
Into something that lasts.

In the video, that child receiving the crown is me.

The child who once had nothing but a dream
is now holding something that makes that dream real.

Some dreams are not meant to be forgotten.
They are meant to become reality.

Ci sono giornate che iniziano come un set e finiscono per diventare un ricordo.

Tra le strade di Salerno, nel quartiere Zevi, abbiamo raccolto sguardi, sorrisi e istanti che nessuna sceneggiatura avrebbe potuto scrivere: una partita improvvisata con i ragazzi del quartiere, l’energia di chi vive questi luoghi e la bellezza delle cose vere.

In quegli sguardi ho ritrovato un pezzo di me, del mio vissuto e delle mie origini. Perché chi nasce in un quartiere sa riconoscere quei valori: la semplicità, la strada, i sogni e la voglia di arrivare.

Grazie a Salerno, grazie al quartiere Zevi, a tutti i bambini che hanno condiviso con noi questa giornata e a Rocco Hunt per aver fatto parte di questa storia.

Queste sono le immagini che restano tra una scena e l’altra. Il capitolo più atteso deve ancora arrivare.
