A lot can unfold over a week—or even within a single day, if I speak about my life. 😶‍🌫️

Today, I found myself in a room filled with women who are courageously pursuing their dreams and careers. Many of them come from modest backgrounds and communities where, not too long ago, education for girls was not a priority. Yet today, these women are not only the bread earners of their households but are also striving to enhance their skills and knowledge, juggling family responsibilities, household duties, and childcare, all while continuing their education.

I had the opportunity to speak with some of them about the subjects they were studying and their motivation for learning at this stage in life. They shared stories about preparing for government teaching exams, driven by the hope of securing a stable future. Many had traveled from nearby villages in the scorching heat of the Rajasthan desert, accompanied by their supportive husbands and families.

What struck me most was seeing how their families, though waiting patiently, were standing beside them in solidarity, encouraging their ambitions.

It reminded me that it’s never too late to start something new. Women truly are the unsung superheroes of our society.

Rafoo: The art of mending

With a needle keen and the thread so fine,
The artisan weaves through warp and twine.
A silent craft, both old and wise,
Where tattered cloth meets new sunrise.

Not merely stitches, not just repair,
But love is sewn with utmost care.
A whisper soft, a touch so light,
Revives the cloth to the former might.

Oh, hands that dance in deft embrace,
Bringing lost beauty back to grace.
A tear, a scar, no longer woe,
For rafoo, breathe in threads that glow.

Each weave a tale, each patch a song,
Of bygone days and time now long.
A mend not just of cloth so torn,
