An elderly man was severely bitten by stray dogs in the Lal Bazar area of Srinagar. How long will we keep hiding such socially concerning issues? What is happening to us? When we went to the hospital, the officials there told us that separate files are now being made for dog bite cases. This means the intention is just to create files, and in this way, humans are being humiliated by dogs. This is not just about one person—there are many such children and women facing this issue. But why is no action being taken? Isn't this against humanity? Even if we are not against animals, there should be a system in place
This incident is horrifying. This elderly man had left his home to earn his livelihood, but now, forget earning—he has to beg for his treatment. Meanwhile, the companies (pharmaceutical) are happy because more dog bites mean more sales of their medicines. There is a whole mafia behind this, supplying these drugs. But are we going to ignore such issues in our great India?
I hope this heartfelt message reaches the right people and that concrete steps will be taken so that humans are no longer humiliated by animals
