Here are *pro saree maintenance tips* Especially for Mulcotton & Kasavu Set Mundu 👇
✨ Saree Guide - Apt Apparels
*1. Washing:*
- *Mulcotton:* Cold water hand wash, mild detergent. First 2 washes separately - colors may bleed lightly
- *Kasavu / Puliyilakkara:* Dry wash only! Never machine wash golden border, kasavu will fade
*2. Drying:*
- Always dry in shade, inside-out
- Never direct sunlight - kasavu will turn blackish, mulcotton colors fade
*3. Ironing:*
- Medium heat, always iron on reverse side
- For kasavu border, use low heat + cotton cloth on top
- Mulcotton: light starch for crisp look
*4. Storage:*
- Fold with kasavu border inside
- Use muslin cloth bag, not plastic
- Put neem leaves / silica gel to avoid moisture & insects
- Refold every 3 months to avoid border cracks
*5. Special Tip:*
For Puliyilakkara shine to stay long - never spray perfume directly on kasavu sarees!
