Meticulously handmade in fine gold with a luminous, high-polish finish, it is embellished with rubies, rose-cut diamonds and pearls in bezel settings. The earring takes the form of a many-layered flower with rows of petals - beginning with pearls, followed by diamonds and rubies. This exquisite short chain with a braided weave detail is handcrafted in fine gold with a high-polish finish. The intricate floral pendant in gold is embellished with rubies, rose-cut diamonds, keshi pearls and pearls in bezel and pavé settings. At Ahalya, we love reinterpreting classic forms through a contemporary lens and we're fortune that our bespoke projects allow us to reinvent tradition in many ways. Today, we dip into our Bespoke Diaries to bring you a glimpse of the Tulip Jhumki.
For a client who wanted a pair of versatile pair of earrings, we designed a jhumki with a subtly contemporary silhouette – more elongated, like an upturned tulip, rather than the classic umbrella form. It finishes with a row of pearls set at an unusual angle, instead of a flat or horizontal edge.

Experience Ahalya’s distinctive interpretation of modern Indian jewellery. Today, we bring you a striking short chain defined by an unexpected interplay of materials and form. Handcrafted in copper with a luminous high-polish finish, the chain is moulded to evoke the texture and movement of a rope. It is anchored by a statement paisley pendant, crafted in gold and delicately dotted with single-cut diamonds in pavé settings.
Within the curve of the paisley, a teardrop-shaped ruby and a circular emerald sit in bezel settings, placed asymmetrically to create an intriguing geometry. The considered contrast of colour, line and texture lends the piece its quiet drama.
