The beauty of Sanatana tradition is that spirituality, science, and architecture are beautifully integrated in our temples.
In many ancient temples, the Shiva Lingam Abhishekam is designed with incredible architectural precision. The water or milk offered on the Lingam flows through specially carved channels, often shaped like Naga (serpent) forms, symbolizing divine energy and protection.
These are not random designs. Every curve, every outlet, and every sculpture was carefully planned by ancient sthapathis (temple architects). Without modern technology, they created structures where rituals, symbolism, and engineering work together perfectly.
When we observe closely, our temples reveal not just devotion, but the advanced knowledge and artistic brilliance of our ancestors.
This is why Indian temples are not just places of worship —
they are living monuments of ancient Indian architecture and wisdom.
