When jewellery holds memory !!
She came to me with a necklace that was almost 30 years old.
Her husband had gifted it to her.
She never liked the design… so it stayed in the locker. For decades.
She didn’t even know redesign was possible.
When we met, she said something simple:
“I want to keep the love intact. But I want to wear it.”
We listened to the old piece.
Kept its essence.
Broke the monotony of gold.
Added pearls and emeralds.
Reimagined it as a long necklace — graceful, wearable, whole.
Three weeks later, when she came to collect it, she was quiet.
She had lost her husband last year.
Wearing something he once chose for her — now transformed into something she truly loved — was overwhelming.
There were tears. Joy and memory together.
Before leaving, she said softly,
“God bless you, Poonam.”
That blessing was the greatest energy exchange of this entire process.
Old jewellery is not outdated.
It is emotion waiting to be worn again.
