In such a prestigious place , in 1994 July month A.S.R Showroom was started within 100 square feet with the strength, hard work and dreams of we four brothers . Our ancestors were running textile business in a small village 100kms away from Madurai, by that time we comp
leted our graduation. As a first generation with the aspiring of starting a business we four brothers choose retailing in jewellery. In the beginning since 1994, our prior motive was to provide best service and quality even without the entry of BIS hallmark. We gave first preference to quality, this basically gave us a strong foundation to promote our business by differentiating from our competitors. We consider one of our biggest achievements as so far running four showrooms successfully in Madurai, two exclusively for gold and the rest two for silver. We aspire and working hard to open multiple showrooms further. Since 1994 we were keen in providing quality and perfect finishing to our products. We admire each and every product we produce and sell to customer and make them feel proud to wear them. This leads us to have good relationship with them and retain them. In recent years unexpected entry of corporate management in retail jewellery affected the GOLD market in some ways. To meet out the competition we decided to provide the best workmanship and various collections at reasonable price. We had a long term plan of opening exclusive showroom for premium collections to categorize unique section. We realised customers preference towards BRANDED JEWELLERY thus we took it as a opportunity to set up MULTI- BRANDED JEWELLERY UNDER ONE ROOF where no one else deals with it in same market. As a next step in our success path, We started Our new showroom “ASR GRAND JEWELLERY" -an Exclusive Multi Brand jewellery” on sep 11 2013,exclusively located near world famous Meenakshi Amman temple in the centre of city very close to our old showroom as well. Here we sell all leading brands like JEWEL ONE, MUKTHI GOLD, SHANTHI GOLD, RKR , ANTIQUE, TEMPLE JEWELLERY, PLATINUM and DIAMONDS both branded and our own production. We used innovative methods in promoting our sales through various Medias including T.V commercials, F.M radio and Newspapers and particularly easy Gold Savings plan for our customers. Our first day inauguration had huge response from existing customers and new buyers which encouraged us to bring more unique and different collections and helped us to convert 99% walk-ins to sales. Though there were ups and downs in the market we were able to satisfy our customer by understanding their wants and by providing value added services. We hereby made them to understand that money is not a matter when there is a quality and service which matters a lot. Thus we continue our successful journey with the ultimate desire of opening more unique showrooms and to benefit our customers through best service and ethical business practices.
