MiRA (pronounced “My-Ra”), the brainchild of Radhika Jain, has been creating waves for the past couple of years in the field of Fashion Accessories and Silverware. As per Egyptian beliefs, God “Ra” signified “power”, “creativity”, “light” and “individuality”. MiRA therefore aims to imbibe all these qualities in its designs. The designs are not only creative and innovative but also fiercely individ
ual. Radhika, who is a commerce graduate, also holds a diploma in graphic and web designing. This academic background, coupled with her creative zeal has made her pursue her intuitive passion for designing. Radhika has participated and organized various costume jewellery and silverware exhibitions in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai ,Mumbai, Ranchi and Vishakapatnam. The overwhelming response has been humbling and there has been no looking back. The designs are meant for the women of today who aspire to be independent, creative and at the same time deeply feminine. The designs are meant for women who are modern but at the same time deeply connected and appreciative of their roots and culture. In this short period, she has supplied her designs under the brand “MiRA” to Simaya (Kolkata), Aura (Kolkata), Kimaya (Mumbai, Delhi, Dubai & Bangalore), Also (Hyderabad), Elahe (Hyderabad), Elan (Ahmedabad), Evoluzione (Chennai & Bangalore) among others. Recently she has opened her own showroom in Kolkata under the brand MiRA by Radhika jain.
