𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶, 𝟯 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: Reasi Police, under its sustained campaign against drug abuse and narcotics trafficking under the “𝗡𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗸𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗺𝘂 & 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗯𝗵𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗻”, achieved another success by apprehending a drug peddler and recovering contraband substance from his possession.

On the late night of 02 June 2026, a police party of Police Station Katra was conducting naka checking at Nomain Naka. During checking, a motorcycle (Pulsar N160) bearing Registration No. JK02DK-8749, coming from Katra towards Nomain, was intercepted for inspection.The motorcycle was being driven by Shugal Singh S/O Shamsher Singh R/O Maira Mandrian, Tehsil Akhnoor, District Jammu. During the search, 7.5 grams of he**in (Chitta) was recovered from his possession.

Acting promptly, the police party seized the recovered contraband and took the accused into custody. In this regard, FIR No. 167/2026 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Katra and further investigation into the case is underway to ascertain the source and intended destination of the recovered narcotics.

Jammu की सोशल मीडिया influencer Ronisha Satti ने su***de attempt मामले के बाद बड़ा बयान दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि एक fake social media page के जरिए उनकी reputation को नुकसान पहुंचाया गया।

Ronisha Satti ने आरोप लगाया कि उन्होंने cybercrime department समेत कई विभागों से मदद मांगी, लेकिन कोई ठोस कार्रवाई नहीं हुई। उनका कहना है कि अगर police कारवाई करती तो IP address आसानी से track किया जा सकता था।

उन्होंने कहा कि fake pages बनाकर किसी को भी target किया जा सकता है और false allegations लगाए जा सकते हैं। फिलहाल डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें observation में रखा है और वह खतरे से बाहर है॥॥

SSP Jammu Sh Joginder Singh Reviews Security Arrangements at Bhagwati Nagar Base Camp for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026.

In view of the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 03 July 2026, SSP Jammu Sh Joginder Singh today visited Bhagwati Nagar Base Camp to review the security and logistical arrangements being put in place for the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.

During the visit, the SSP Jammu conducted a comprehensive inspection of the security deployment and interacted with officers and officials deployed at the base camp. Officers from CRPF and civil administration were also present during the review meeting.

Detailed discussions were held regarding the overall security strategy, crowd management, traffic regulation, surveillance mechanisms, emergency response preparedness and coordination among different agencies to ensure the safety and convenience of the pilgrims.

The SSP Jammu stressed upon the importance of timely completion of all arrangements and directed officers to maintain high levels of alertness and coordination during the Yatra period. Emphasis was also laid on ensuring proper facilities, smooth movement and hassle-free assistance to the devotees arriving at the base camp.

The officers were instructed to work in close coordination with all stakeholder agencies to provide a safe, secure and comfortable environment for the pilgrims undertaking the holy yatra.
