Every year we meet at NY NOW, and every year something grows out of it.

Serena Van Rensselaer Jewelry and I have been building SAKHI together for a while now, carried across the US through stores and online.

This year, over a cup of coffee, we decided on the next thing, a gold line, handcrafted by Aurelio Aurelio Rivera.

Made in New York and sold in New York.

The best collaborations are never really planned. They come from years of trust, and a good cup of coffee.

Three years ago, I decided to work in 14 ct gold. No grand launch. Just gold, natural stones, and the belief that jewelry should feel as though it was made for one woman in particular.

Design by design, that idea became a collection. Watching it grow Atelier d’Emotion has been one of the real joys of this journey.

Thank you, Alice, for making room for ARRA, and for believing in it the way I do.

This collaboration has become something rather special.

Here is to the women who have already found their piece, and to the ones still to come.
