Analogous violet and pink necklace

I am an analogous violet and pink tassel necklace, Divya's most recent creation. She made me as a birthday gift for a pretty girl who loves purple. My colour scheme is what you would call an analogous colour harmony. Analogous colours are 3-5 hues located adjacent to one another on a colour wheel. It can also includes tints, tones, and shades of those hues....

Sardonyx is a combination gemstone of two varieties of chalcedony. It combines sard, the reddish-brown or orange-brown stone, and onyx, that can be identified by almost straight bands of white, grey or black. Sard + onyx = sardonyx.

During the Indian independence movement, women from across Tamil Nadu, esp Madras donated their gold in response to Mahatma Gandhi's appeals for the Swadeshi and Harijan welfare funds.
S. Ambujammal, Rukmini Lakshmipathi, Kothainaiyakki Ammal, and Padmasini Ammal were some of Freedom fighters who championed this cause.

They truly believed that their personal security and independence was rooted in India's security and independence.

I salute all these women on India's 80th independence Day. Jai Hind

Mekala and Kuranguseri

Indian designer Rahul Mishra's collection Devi, presented at the Paris Couture week Fall 2026 has won a lot of accolades. Single thread embroidery along with beadwork has been used to make the clothes and their wearers look like 12th CE stone statutes. With forms and motifs inspired by Hoyala Architecture, as seen at Belur and Halabedu, the collection has sparked conversation about Indian architecture, sculpture, and aesthetics....

A Mekala is a multi stranded Indian bead ornament worn at the hip with a fixed center focal and is different from a Kuranguseri.
