This amazing journey began before the independence and is still pertaining in this field. The first ever shop was established by our grandfather in the 1940’s. For almost five decades it was run and owned by the Daddi family, but in a partnership with the Madalgi’s. In 1995, the partnership ended, and the shop was handed over to my father, Sangappa Daddi. Amar Daddi, decided to carry forward the l
egacy and take the business at higher peaks. Before exploring the venture, he took the proper knowledge about everything. He first began with learning the work of goldsmith, in Mumbai. In those few years he acknowledged a lot of new things and experiences like customer behavior, customer requirements in terms of designs and more. In the year 1998, he set up a small shop of around 200sq. feet, with him being the only salesmen in the shop. With family support, Amar Daddi took the responsibility and the risk of such a big investment. As per the expectations, the huge step taken was going on the right path. We could see growth in the business. In 2005, he put his next foot forward and renovated the shop and then expanded later to a new big showroom. In the same year, the Government of India implemented the hallmarking policy. Amar Daddi supported this scheme and began the same even in his shop. This is where he got his Life Mantra, “First SAMADHAN of the customer, then FAIDA of our own”. On this basis he started the – “SHUBHSANGAM CHI PATHSHALA”. The only intension here was to spread the knowledge about hallmarking of gold and jewels. We would like to specially highlight the fact, that Shubhsangam Daddi Jewelers was the only shop, in North Karnataka and South Maharashtra to give the knowledge about hallmarking at that time.
