Dear Bangaloreans,
As you may have been aware, due to massive rains this year death toll has mounted to 76, around 58 people are reportedly missing, and about 2.51 lakh people have been shifted to 1639 relief camps in Kerala. We are currently going through a situation as that was on last year.
The affected families and individuals in relief camps are lacking food, medicines, inner wears, blankets and much more.
Can you imagine living without drinking water, without food, dress, sanitary napkins, having the fear of contagious diseases, and living under a shelter with a huge loss?
If then, kindly offer them at least a packet of biscuit, a bottle of water, sanitary napkins, a mat to sleep, a dress to wear... everything matters now... Every single help counts.
Since past two days, we here in Koramangala opened a collection centre and it's functioning 24/7. But we hardly received things. Yes, the same centre which was filled with relief materials last year seems to be vacant this time. We are receiving news about the camps from Mananthavadi and others, that the affected lives have got no food to eat. This should be condemned. If not us then who. Today, we need you. We need your open hearts and lending hands.
We appreciate if you could give a thought about it and come down with your contributions. Every bit counts…
Please come down, and drop materials in our location at Koramangala or if you can collect at any point our volunteers will directly come and collect things from you anywhere in Bengaluru. Hearty donations are welcome.
