There was a time when me the founder, was a young woman fresh out of college, travelling to work in the office bus every morning across Bangalore.
With headphones plugged into a tiny FM radio phone, each day began with one familiar greeting:
“Good Morning, Bangalore!”
The voice belonged to Vasanthi Hariprakash.
Her warmth, intelligence, and energy made ordinary mornings feel special. Back then, she was a beloved radio host. Today, she is one of India’s most respected storytellers, journalists, speakers, and entrepreneurs.
Years later, life came full circle.
The same woman whose voice once inspired those daily commutes is now wearing jewellery from Aashirs.
Moments like these remind me how beautifully life connects our dreams.
Aashirs was built with a simple but powerful purpose: to create beautiful jewellery while empowering women and persons with disabilities through meaningful livelihoods.
