Veronica Beard
I’m extremely touched by the huge support I have received from everyone that has seen what’s happening, because it is a very common struggle for designers. I will continue to fight for reinforcements for the laws of fine Jewlery designers. This has become a mission for me. Thank you.
In July 2025, Who What Wear featured DEZSO’s diamond necklace alongside a $125 Veronica Beard necklace in the same article, it became one of the most important pieces and most iconic pendants at Dezso. I’ve been wearing it since I designed it, everyday since 2020. We offer from 0.30ct to 9ct, it took me years to build the trust in people to invest. Fine jewelry isn’t a necessity it is an emotional investment, so you build the trust with your collectors.
For me, seeing such a similar design marketed alongside my original raises serious concerns about customer confusion and the value of what I have spent years building.
DEZSO’s identity comes from original design, fine materials, and years of collaboration with artisans in Jaipur. When that identity is imitated at a fraction of the price, the concern goes beyond resemblance. It puts our craftsmanship, our market, and our clients’ trust at risk.
Think about how offensive it is for my collectors. You not only offend the artist but also the group of people who collect and understand the art. You give away work that is not yours and you also give away trust that is not yours either. You commercialize and destroy everyone’s work.
Behind every DEZSO piece is a history worth protecting.
