John Rattigan started the business on Wexford's Main Street over 85 years ago. He was a trained Watchmaker, serving his time in Wexford before gaining experience in Co. He ran the business with his wife Sarah for many years until their eldest son Sean, took it over when they retired in the 1970's. Sean had trained under the watchful eye of his father for many years and now has over 50 years experi

ence in the trade. He sat on the Executive Committee of the Retail Jewellers of Ireland for many years. Sean's two daughters are actively involved in the business since they were teenagers and are trained in all aspects of the jewellery trade. Aoife holds an Honours B.A and both Jewellery Education and Training Awards from The National Association of Goldsmiths in the U.K. As well as stocking a range of quality jewellery and watches we also carry out a full repair service on watches and jewellery, many of which are done on the premises.
