This week presented another first for me - I sold a couple of my jewellery pieces Rachel kane. Held my breath until I had confirmation that they arrived safely at their destination. 😁

So a big thank you to my first online customer and to the great platform Rachel kane.

Had a couple of lovely swims on Old Head beach - calm waters, no jellies and the chat of fellow swimmers across the water.

A different mountain every day - Croagh Patrick.

And delighted to have some of my pieces Louisburgh 74 Cafe again - thank you to Edwina for her support.

I have a market coming up soon - I will post about it when I have the details.

So here are some pieces that I have made in the last few, very warm weeks!

First up, on the left, is Le Petit Chapeau ring (seen before). It is in honour of my maternal grandmother who worked in a milliners on Georges Street in Dublin before she married my granda. She would use the skills learned there throughout her long life. I am delighted with the second ring - Your Heart in Mine. I have made pendants of the same but the ring was suggested to me. I wasn't sure I would manage such small pieces but I did and it is very dainty! Oh, I used copper and brass in both rings - a lovely combination.

A pair of earrings, Le Petit Chapeau.

I have renamed my next pendant to A Heart-to-Heart on the Hearth because it is made from a very old fire fixture from my house!

I love the heron and it has been suggesting itself in various offcuts of other pieces but I am happy with this!

And, finally after a long spiel, a reworked pendant - Seashells on the Seashore - using brass and silver offcuts.

Some of these pieces will also be available to buy .ie (online) and (online or in the Ecostore).

I am delighted to have some of my pieces on display - and for sale - Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun again!

And full disclosure in the interests of recycling 😁 - display case is a wine box (absolutely not a drop passed my lips); the dividers within case are cardboard wrappings from a table delivery; the packaging is made by myself and can be reused for notepaper (with little doodles by moi). Of course, the pieces of jewellery are made from repurposed/recycled/upcycled (whatever you are having yourself) copper - offcuts from light engineering, gifted old plumbing (the clean parts) and 80+-years-old fireplace fittings! Phew, it is good to get that off my chest.😁

More of my pieces can be viewed and bought online - just follow the link in my bio (I have always wanted to say that)! Www.wicklowmarketplace.ie - to be sure, to be sure!

Enjoy the sunshine and remember to use sunscreen.πŸ˜Žβ›±

Back in April I announced that I now have another platform to sell my pieces of Noble-McG Creations. I also mentioned that any mistakes made were mine! Thanks to my lovely friend, it was brought to my attention that my link to Rachel kane wasn't working - all my fault, I didn't input it correctly!

So, the long and short of this post is to tell you that should you wish to browse at and perhaps purchase a piece of my jewellery, you can do so now by clicking on the link in my bio!😁

A few weeks ago, I dropped this old leather jacket and older leather bag into CycleUp Textiles - a training and social enterprise based in the lovely village of Athleague, Co. Roscommon. On Monday last, I received these extraordinary pieces of skilled craftswomanship - a beautiful leather tote bag and a gorgeous leather coin purse. The circular economy at its best!

This is not the first time I have bought something from them but it is my first 'commission'. Absolutely delighted with both guilt-free gifts to myself!πŸ₯°

Thank you to Alena and all the team CycleUp Textiles - look them up and be amazed at what they do and the quality of their work. 😁
