🚨 SOLEUS FIELD REPORT: GRAVITY IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. 😂🛸
POV: You thought you were just having fun… but your soleus was working overtime.
While you're busy flying a flying saucer, your body is busy doing body things. 🦵💥
Your soleus — that deep calf muscle hiding underneath your gastrocnemius — helps control your ankle and manage the movement of your body over your feet.
Basically, even when your brain says “WHEEEEE!” your muscles are like: “Everyone stay calm. We've got this.” 😂
🧠 THE SCIENCE BIT: The soleus is packed with slow-twitch muscle fibres, making it well suited to sustained activity and postural control.
So yes, you can have fun, defy gravity (sort of), and still get a biomechanics lesson out of it.
SOLEUS — serious about movement, never too serious about life. 💜💚
