Why am I telling you all this? Because that’s what I hope for with my jewellery; that each little silver leaf brings a little joy, a memory maybe. Or perhaps it makes a memory; when your little girl grows up and inevitably wears your earrings, your necklace that she remembers you wearing.
I’m off to see if I can design a little silver blackberry earring… for my daughter’s memories ☺️

Cadmium replaced lead when we found out how poisonous this was. But cadmium is just as lethal. Please please be super careful what you buy. I only just found out about cadmium when two separate people came into my shop saying they were allergic to silver. Looking into this further it transpires that what they thought was silver (labelled as 925 ) was probably not what they thought it was. (Only hallmarked silver is guaranteed to be what it says it is, 925 stamp is not a hallmark)
Another good reason to shop local and trust your maker!
