Solar Without the Sales Pitch

Leixlip residents, clubs and businesses curious about solar are invited to a free community information night at 7.00pm on Thursday 29 October in Leixlip Community Centre. Free parking is available in River Forest Shopping Centre.

Run entirely by volunteers and facilitated by Energy Mentor Emer Conway, KSN Communities, the Leixlip Solar Meitheal will help people work out whether solar makes sense for them. Budget 2027 announced a new battery grant and widened Solar PV grant eligibility, so many more homes may now benefit.

Local families who have already installed will share what they learned about costs, savings, system size and grants. It's neighbours giving neighbours straight answers before they spend a cent.

If there's enough interest, households can join together in a group buying scheme.

No booking, no pressure, and there'll be spot prizes and a few surprises on the night. Bring your electricity bill, bring a friend, and bring an open mind. Queries to [email protected]
