Fleurs de Liss Irish Handcrafted Jewellery and Accessories Brand Welcome to Fleurs de Liss! Fleurs de Liss was created by Melissa Power and her partner Mark.

After falling ill and spending lots of time at home and in hospitals, it was her sister in law to be Leona, that sparked the idea of the alternative wedding bouquet when discussing her own wedding. Having much free time on her hands, Melissa decided to experiment and began crafting flowers at home from scrap paper and old pieces of fabric. Gaining much encouragement following her early efforts, sh

e continued to craft ideas and designed and crafted the bouquets for her second sister in law to be, Laura. Word of mouth spread fast and it wasn't long before requests were becoming more frequent!! With the help and support of her partner Mark, they took to setting up Fleurs de Liss, a play on the name given to Melissa by family and friends. We hope you enjoy browsing our page! Some BIG NEWS here at Fleurs de Liss!!
While things may have appeared quiet on our social accounts the reality is that since Nov it's been pretty manic! Not just with commissions and online orders but with my decision to upskill and take on the craft of Goldsmithing too!
After training in Dublin at The School of Jewellery and subsequently learning stone setting from Lee Harding of Da Capo Goldsmiths, I decided to take things a step further.
Using the skills I'd learnt, I built a portfolio of work to present to the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland as part of my application for a place on their 2 year Goldsmithing and Design Skills course.
This course is world renowned and open to all EU residence with only 12 places awarded every 2 years.
I am so delighted to announce that I've been selected for a place on the course!!! I'll begin the 2 year course in Sept at The Design and Crafts Council workshop in The Castle Yard, Kilkenny.
This is a full time programme, 9-5, Mon to Fri for 44 weeks each year and will required additional hours to complete different projects.
While I aim to maintain Fleurs de Liss during this time, I ask you to please allow ample time when making an order!

Our good friends at Little Pleasures Lingerie have made the hard decision to close their doors for good before Christmas.

We'll be sad to see them go but wish them every success in all their future endeavors.
