The triskele is an ancient symbol found in some of the oldest artwork in Ireland.
The tri-spiral motif is one of the most recognisable carvings found at Newgrange - a Stone Age monument in Ireland’s Ancient East, and one of the most important prehistoric sites in Ireland, constructed around 3,200 B.C.!
