A lot of tears shed today as I wish Mai all the very best in her retirement 🥺💖
Mai Corr walked through the Lorimat door on her first day 12 years ago and so began the friendship with one of the best people I’ve had the honor to know. During our time working together, Mai displayed a work ethic like no other. Her attention to detail and retail skills gave Lorimat the structure and efficiency that made it run so well. And as for customer service, many in Kilkenny will know her faultless manner, helpful advice and of course impeccable style. We’ve shared many experiences together over the years with our wonderful customers, sometimes hilariously funny, sometimes poignant and sentimental. It’s working through times like this that binds you to a person forever. I wish you all the very best in your next chapter Mai, you are more than deserving of it. Rita xx 💞😍

✨We have news!✨Lorimat is going fully online from 2nd February 2024. This is a huge change for both us and you, our fabulous customers, and we hope you will join us in this new and exciting journey. Little did we think back in 1993 when our shop opened on Kieran Street that we would see such radical changes in the way our retail transactions are conducted. While this is a bold move, I feel it is the right one in the right direction, not just for our business but for personal reasons too. We will be finishing up in our showroom on Patrick Street on Friday 2nd February. All gift vouchers and deposits will of course still be honoured and available to use online. If we don’t have something in stock on our website we’ll be happy to source it for you.
