The fine jewellery you have known and loved at Loulerie now has a home of its own.
Welcome to Louise Petersen.
For twenty years, Louise has met the women she designs for in the Loulerie store in Dublin. Listening to them, she learned what jewellery really means: not the occasion, but the life around it. Two Shores is what she made from those conversations.
It is also deeply personal. The collection grew from Louise’s own experience of change, and from her life between Ireland and Denmark. Every piece was refined slowly and carefully, then taken to Paris in March to make sure it was the very best it could be.
Two Shores is named for those two coastlines, with the sea between them. It is about the moments that change us, and the people and places that stay connected to us.
At its centre are the new solitaire rings. The Double Wave brings two waves of pavé diamonds together around a single GIA-certified diamond, for the love that brings two lives together. The Single Wave carries one solitaire on a wave of pavé, for the moment that stays with you for life. Both come in pear and oval, the soft shapes Louise always returns to.
Around them, earrings shaped like spray from a breaking wave, curved studs for the ear stack and, for the first time, blue sapphires in the colour of deep water.
The campaign is worn by Nadja, who studied architecture in Berlin and textile design in Amsterdam, ran her own design studio in Berlin and Boston, and now lives in London working as a transformational coach, writer and podcaster. She has a strong affinity with water, and brings her creativity and life experience to everything she does.
Our heartfelt thanks to Valery and Nadia for their creativity and thoughtful contribution to bringing the Two Shores campaign to life.
“Everything I design begins with the women I meet.”
