this magnificent yacht called " Sheila " to replace his famous
"gunrunning " yacht " Chotah ". Sheila had a prestigious beginning
having been commissioned by Queen Victoria as a birthday
present for her son-in- law Prince Henry of Battenberg.
Unfortunatelt Sir Thomas later nearly lost his life as this beautiful boat was driven onto the rocks off the Isle of Man.He barely escaped in the dinghy
