He said he remembers telling his best friend that night that one day he was going to marry her, his friend laughed and told him to go home. But he knew.

He said it hasn’t always been easy, they’ve managed long distance, a break up and the usual chaos, but he’s always known she was forever.

I offered to help him choose the perfect ring, but the moment he saw the Moonlight he said he didn’t need any others. This was meant to be her ring.

She’s not expecting the proposal, at least not now. But he said that’s why he’s doing it now, he wants to be able to show her how much he adores her. He said the time was never going to be perfect and he just wanted her to know that they were forever.

It’s the greatest honour to get to be there for a moment like this, to be the only person in on this enormous secret that’s about to shape two lives. Here’s to love ❤️

When I was in my late 20s at the start of building my dreams there was a never ending list of people who told me to give up, that it would never work out…

I have always loved the store of how people have used the North Star to find their way for thousands of years. Whether towards home or adventure, the North Star is true unmoving star. A guiding light towards your future.

I designed the very first North Star piece as a reminder that while no one else understood, I knew I had a dream and a plan to build Chupi | Fine Jewellery & Engagement Rings. My first piece was my necklace, which is now our most loved necklace and part of so many stories.
