All of us here in Douglas Jewellers are heartbroken by the sad news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Tom Brennan.
For an incredible 49 years, Tom was a very special part of Douglas Jewellers, working away quietly in the workshop behind the scenes. While he may not have been a familiar face to many of our customers, generations of Carlow families have benefited from Tom’s incredible skill, care and dedication. So much of the work that happened behind our doors over the years was thanks to Tom.
We will miss Tom more than words can say — his friendship, his laughter, his stories, and of course, our regular trips for his Lucozade, chips, sweets and Lotto tickets!
Tom truly was one in a million, and his presence in Douglas Jewellers will be deeply missed by us all. He was not just a colleague, but a friend and a very special part of Douglas Jewellers.
Our heartfelt thoughts and deepest sympathies are with all of the Brennan family at this incredibly difficult and heartbreaking time.
Rest in peace, Tom. You will never be forgotten.
Ivan & Ken Tucker & all the staff at Douglas Jewellers Carlow ❤️
