Product Name Manufacturer's Part n. Feature Description
AU301-DP GR03490 Standard version
GR04190 AIR FILTER KIT
Integration and important Operating instructions
Ordering informations
The AU301-DP is designed for operation up to 430Wrms (DVB signal) with very high linearity, and TV
Analog Signal up to 1400 Watt peak synk, in common amplification, dual sound.
This design uses 6th generation family LDMOS devices that are capable of very high peak power as
long as the average power does not exceed specified ratings. The devices are protected by an
internal circuit, for Overdrive and high Mismatch load.
However is mandatory to handle with care the Input level during the "precorrection operations" due to
possible very fast and high spikes coming from the source.
The AU301-DP must allow the nominal voltage before applying RF driver signal or damage can result
to the amplifier. For this reason the voltage must be applied before the RF driver signal. Additionally,
the input signal, must be removed before powering down to prevent damage to the amplifier. You can
accomplish this by removing the RF driver signal and powering down the power amplifier.
The AU301-DP has not the internal Power Supply. It must be supplied by an external Power Supply
following the P.S. supply indicated on this document.
RES-Ingenium can provide two kinds of Power Supply:
- PS200 series equipped with 1 kW slots
- PS200-D3 @ 43 Volt (equipped with 3 Slots) for any Digital Operations
- PS200-D6 @ 43 Volt (equipped with 6 Slots) for any TV Analog Operations and CW
- Compact 43Volt / 4kW Power Supply (19 Inch, 2 HE) for any operation
In case of installation in a site with no air filter is strongly reccomended to buy the "Air Filter Kit
Accessory" coeded as GR04190 easy to install on the front panel.
When the AU301-DP in installed in a 19 Inch std Rack is important to leave a right space on the rear
zone to facilitate the exhausted air extraction.
It's suggested to leave one free unit (1 HE) at the top of the Amplifier.
In case of use of more AU301-DP in parallel an appropriate power combiner has to be used. The
connection between the Amplifiers and Power Combiner Input Ports is strongly reccomended to
use"low Loss Cables" type.
The Amplifier is equipped with an RF Monitor Output available by a SMA connector where is possible
to test the performances when the it's on duty. The RF Monitor Output is normally > -40 dB referred to
the main output in order to have a right signal managed by std Instrumentation.
Anyway a SMA pad can be put in series to reuduce the RF monitor amplitude.
The Amplifier is delivered in cartoon box packaging. Use all professional caution during unpacking,
handling and mounting.
Please consult RES-INGENIUM factory with any integration questions.

Notice:
This amplifier is not designed for CW signals above 300W. Many of the older transistors with low power
density can handle CW at maximum rating. A good example is the BLF861A from NXP.
The new LDMOS 42 and 50V devices are capable of very high peak power which is very important for
digital and analog TV; however, these transistors have limited CW capability.
Do not apply a CW signal to this amplifier above 300W or the amplifier may be damaged. Any attempt to
judge the performance of this product based on the application of a CW signal is invalid.
Under Analog modulation this pallet can deliver 600W peak sync. This means if you have an average
reading power meter and you apply a standard color bar modulation test pattern you can operate up to
275W. Peak Sync power may be calculated by multiplying the average power x 2.2 for a color bar test
pattern. In general when we talk about peak sync power it means that the maximum average power
allowed is 50% lower.

CIRCULAR POLARIZATION ANTENNA
GP-1
The GP antenna is designed to maintain a continuous power of 1.5KW per element. This antenna is made of stainless steel, which guarantees the incorruptibility of its technical specifications and it comes adjusted to the desired frequency, although it can be changed if needed. This circular polarization antenna is highly recommended for very hard environmental conditions.

require AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Service. Wireless remote access requires WAP 2.0-compliant cell phone or other handheld device. Total Home DVR feature requires additional
U-verse receivers for each additional TV at $7 a month.
What is IPTV? IPTV, or Internet Protocol television, is a relatively new and still evolving technology that AT&T is using to deliver TV service. AT&T is the only national service provider to offer a 100-percent IP-based TV service, AT&T U-verseSM TV. IP technology means that your TV, PC, home phone and wireless devices can be integrated to all work together, giving you unmatched features, more control and more personalization.
Internet Protocol
Think of Internet Protocol as a “language” that devices use to communicate over a computer network. IP is not the same thing as the Internet. Rather, it’s the same language used by the Internet. IP technology allows information to be sent and received over any broadband or network connection.
When all of your devices and services — now including your TV
— speak the same language, they are able to easily work together in new ways. Program your DVR from your PC or wireless phone… Display personalized content and applications from the Internet on your TV…Even view your home phone’s incoming call log on your TV screen. Why IPTV is Different Than Cable Technology IPTV is a different, improved technology than “traditional” cable or satellite TV, and it allows for more flexibility within the network. IPTV enables two-way interactivity, versus a traditional, one-way cable or satellite broadcast network. The two-way IPTV network means viewers have more options to interact, personalize and control their viewing experience. IP technology also allows for more flexibility within your home network. With IP, all of the U-verse receivers in your home — no matter which room they are in — are connected on the same high-speed home network. This lets you watch shows recorded from your DVR on any TV in the house. You can also connect gaming consoles, laptops and other devices to your home network using the Ethernet port on the back of your set-top box. How IPTV is Different Than Internet Video
Watching U-verse TV is different than streaming videos over the public Internet. With U-verse TV, programming is carried over our managed network, which allows us to control video quality and the reliability of your service. Best-effort Internet video can be subject to delays due to lower bandwidth, high traffic or poor connection quality.
Because IP lets your TV communicate with other services, it can bring integrated broadband content and features to your TV screen. For example, AT&T Online Photos from Flickr gives you the ability to view personal photos that you’ve uploaded to flickr.com right on your TV. What’s Next for IPTV? Our U-verse features are only a glimpse of what is possible with IP. This new, advanced technology is still evolving, and because of our two-way IP network, we’re able to roll out enhancements quickly and easily, without any hassle for customers. That’s one of the greatest benefits of our IP platform. IP is the future for your TV, and there’s much more ahead.
