Miše (Mischel) is a family-owned business with a tradition lasting over 100 years and the knowledge, skills and expertise passed over five generations. We are situated along the Adriatic coast, in the historic town of Trogir in the heart of Dalmatia. We make jewellery and art pieces from precious metals, gems and other natural materials taken from the earth and the sea. We also make custom pieces,

offer repair and restore services and will consider trade-ins. Our business is proudly run by Marin Miše along with his sisters Marina and Vesna and the wholehearted support of a small, knowledgeable staff and a handful of family-owned business partners. We strive to achieve ultimate consumer confidence while remaining fully committed to the highest quality.

The Rising
✨
A mirror, a journey, a reflection of life itself.

Created by Marko Grgat, The Rising is a sculptural work woven from symbolism, mythology, and the timeless human search for meaning. At its heart sails La Donna, the historic Trogir galley, representing the voyage of life — a path shaped by challenges, choices, and discoveries.

Along its sides stand figures inspired by Radovan's Portal, among them the Archangel Gabriel. They embody the fears, struggles, and inner battles we encounter as we move through life, each one a reminder that growth often comes through adversity.

On one side stands Kairos, the ancient god of fortunate moment — that fleeting instant when opportunity appears. Opposite him is an archer, forever searching for Kairos, pursuing his own moment of destiny and fulfillment.

At the very top, a swirling vortex draws the eye toward a zircon, symbolizing the eye of God — a presence that watches over the journey from beginning to end.

Through the elements of earth, water, air, and fire, Grgat brings together nature, mythology, history, and spirituality in a single work. More than a mirror, The Rising invites us to look beyond our reflection and consider the path we are travelling.

Fragments of Eternity ✨

Inspired by the ideals of ancient Greek sculpture, the works of Marko Grgat invite us to see beauty not only in what remains, but also in what is missing.

In his Fragments series, faces emerge from history as incomplete forms — pieces of a larger story. By removing parts of the figure, Grgat transforms classical perfection into a reflection on memory, identity, and the passage of time. The missing fragments become an invitation, allowing each viewer to complete the story through their own imagination.

We are honored to present one of these remarkable works in our store — a sculpture crafted in terracotta, with striking lapis lazuli eyes and displayed on a mahogany wood base. This particular piece beautifully reflects Grgat's dialogue between antiquity and the present, craftsmanship and imagination, inviting visitors to pause, reflect, and discover their own meaning within the fragments.
