Custom Casio A168 “Racing Gold” by EON

We always thought something was missing on the A168. It’s an iconic Casio, but the original lightweight bracelet never really matched the potential of the watch.

So we upgraded it with our custom leather Racing strap.

Now the A168 looks and feels more premium on the wrist, while still keeping that classic Casio charm we love.

Casio also stopped producing the previous gold-screen version of the A168 and replaced it with black lettering, so we decided to bring back that warm gold look ourselves, paired with a strap that finally gives the watch the presence it deserves.

Custom Casio “Terra Racer” by EON

We got the idea for this build while picturing a casual evening drive in a classic 80s car. Cruising down a dusty road just as the sun starts setting when the light hits the dash and turns everything gold. We wanted a watch that felt exactly like that. The Casio AQ-230 was perfect for that. Its 80s ana-digi face looks like it belongs right in a vintage cockpit. Mixed with some rugged, earthy toned racing strap, it’s just a really cool piece that brings a bit of that old-school analog charm.

New addition to our A168 lineup, heavily leaning into exposing gold tones on black leather. Nothing is left unsaid, we we have changed screen polarization to negative- a special one that makes numbers show up in gold tone.
Paired with hand-slotted 22mm black leather racing strap.

Custom Casio A700 “Gold Rush” by EON

This Casio A700 looks like pure polished gold, as if it were pulled straight from the ground.
The black screen with golden numbers was a must for this mod, giving it the classy, elegant contrast that makes the whole piece stand out.

It’s not unusual for a watch to be called unisex, but most still tend to lean one way or the other. Not this one.
This piece looks absolutely incredible on anyone.

Casio A700 is much thinner watch than Casio A168 which makes it perfect for all day use.

Custom Casio A158 “RoadRunner” by EONwatches.

One of our best-selling mods is back with refreshed photos.

The screen features a tri-color 70s pinstripe, giving the digital classic a subtle retro racing spirit.

Finished with a racing-style strap: 22mm tapering to an 18mm lug width. By keeping the strap at 22mm, it perfectly follows the 22mm body endings of the watch for a seamless fit.

Custom Casio A168 “Azure Retro” by EON

The idea for this piece came to us just a few days ago, inspired by clear skies and that first stretch of truly sunny weather. As the days got warmer, we moved our coffee breaks to the courtyard outside our office — surrounded by blue skies and fresh air.
That’s when it clicked.
Why not combine the iconic silver A168 design with a deep blue leather racing strap and our signature negative blue display? The result is a watch that feels both refined and nostalgic.

We always taught that something was off with A168 and it turns out they are always fitted with medium quality light bracelet. We discovered that a bit of weight of a premium quality bracelet was missing all along. Now A168 looks and feels premium on wrist, having all the qualities of expensive watches, but with a Casio charm.
