The sea has been generous in providing the residents of Ston with everything need to sustain them, and like the City of Dubrovnik whose power was built on salt, Ston has a similar heritage.
Vila Koruna, the oldest eating house in the region, has been redecorated into a top quality restaurant offering accommodation with 6 rooms decorated to a high standard and designed to provide seclusion and relaxsation. Vila Koruna still continues the centuries old tradition of serving dishes created from the finest quality pure natural organic ingredients.

The terraca of the restaurant is surrounded by natural temperate glass fronted stone basins;. which are filled with seawater drilled from 48 metre deep caverns, thereby providing ideal conditions for keeping fish until they are elected for the table.
