As One; We Craft began with a simple belief: Every person deserves to be seen as equally valuable, and true beauty emerges when every contribution has the chance to shape the whole.

Each year, people from all walks of life come together to transform a single piece of 18K gold into one shared creation.

Some saw. Some hammer. Some polish. Together, they choose the gemstones and where they belong.

No one controls the final outcome.

What one person envisions may not be what others desire.

The first hands may think they are leading the design, but each new participant reshapes the piece. It becomes an exercise in trust, letting go of ownership, embracing the unexpected, and discovering that something stronger can emerge when every voice is given space to matter.

The finished piece carries more than craftsmanship. It carries the energy, choices, and stories of everyone who shaped it. By crafting together, we craft understanding. We craft inclusion. We craft a more equal way of seeing one another.

And when the piece is eventually collected, 10% of its sale is donated to one of the charities nominated by the participants, allowing the story of many hands to create an impact beyond the jewellery itself.

This is As One; We Craft.

At PICS Fine Jewellery, we believe jewellery can be more than an object of adornment. It can become a language for expressing ideas, encouraging reflection, and bringing people together. We hope this article inspires more people to discover the meaning that jewellery can carry beyond its beauty and craftsmanship.
