Paros may be well known for its beaches and the picturesque port of Naousa but there are also many other parts of the island to explore and enjoy. One of those is the beautiful walk through Paros Park to Korakas Lighthouse.
After the end of the Ottoman Empire, France and Great Britain helped Greece by building lighthouses around the country to aid the country. The lighthouse in Paros is one of the few manned lighthouses in Greece built by the French and the guard there is more than happy to talk guests through the history of the lighthouse with its 10m high tower.
The walk from Kolybithres Beach - Paros up through Paros Park / Πάρκο Πάρου, takes you to Φάρος Κόρακας Πάρου - Ligthhouse Korakas Paros where the views are breathtaking especially around sunset.
