Η ενασχόλησή μου με το χειροποίητο κόσμημα ξεκίνησε το 2005. Έχω παρακολουθήσει εργαστήρια και σεμινάρια σύγχρονου εικαστικού κοσμήματος στη Χαλκίδα και στο Λονδίνο.
Σήμερα, συνεχίζω να σχεδιάζω και να κατασκευάζω κοσμήματα στο εργαστήριό μου στη Χαλκίδα, τα οποία συνδυάζουν ασήμι και ημιπολύτιμους λίθους με υλικά και αντικείμενα όπως κλωστή, ύφασμα, μαλλί, χαρτί, βότσαλα, κοχύλια, ρητίνη κ.ά.
Το
ενδιαφέρον μου εστιάζεται στη δημιουργική χρήση και το συνδυασμό υλικών, στα οποία προσδίδεται αξία, με άλλα, τα οποία μπορεί να θεωρηθούν καθημερινά, αναλώσιμα ή λιγότερο “πολύτιμα”.

I have studied jewelry design and fabrication techniques at the Municipal School of Jewelry of my hometown, Chalkida, in Greece, from 2005 to 2007. Since that time, I continue to experiment with different mediums and take regular classes as often as possible. My work can be described as a continuous search for beauty and simplicity. Sometimes it 's in the little details, in a delicate leaf or even in the decay. Beauty is thought to be subjective, hence it can be found potentially everywhere. Studying colors and textures of the surrounding environment, collecting natural specimens and observing seasonal transformations are ways to approach what is often elusive. In this quest, precious and non-precious materials are equally important. I often choose to combine sterling silver and gemstones with alternative or repurposed materials like resin, paper, pebbles, fibers and textiles not only for their visual and tactile qualities, but also for the stories they carry within. To integrate them, I'm drawn by simple, geometrical shapes and abstract botanical forms, which are then meticulously rendered into wearable objects.
