NEW MOON IN VIRGO

MERCURY is moving into LIBRA, VENUS is moving into SCORPIO and URANUS is going retrograde in GEMINI, reminding us to be mindful of where we’re investing our energy.

Virgo is the healer, the organised, the structured and the reliable, which is fully aligned with “back to school” energies. A New Moon invites us to open a new cycle, offering us tonight a fresh start after eclipse season, which may have closed some chapters of our lives irrevocably.

For me, even as an adult, September has always felt like the beginning of the year, a year that will end with the summer holidays. There is this idea of engaging our energy, planting the seeds of what we would like to see blooming and growing in the year to come, but also taking the time to harvest what was planted last year.

Join us on September 25 & 26 to celebrate Despina Vergidi Studio ’s 5th birthday with the ‘ΗΛΙΟΔΩΡΟΝ’ event! For this collaborative project, twelve
artists, creatives and wellness practitioners have been invited to create a one-of-a-kind or limited-edition design/artwork or a workshop inspired by the
studio’s symbols -the SUN and the EGG- and their symbolisms. The theme is open to interpretation, giving participants the space to approach it in their own unique way, through the prism that joy is worth pursuing -a concept extensively explored in artist and educator Ellie Tsatsou-Palmer ’s innovative educational project Integrated Creativity

FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE IN PISCES

The new moon total solar eclipse in Leo August on 12 and this full moon luna eclipse August 28 (or 27 depending where we are in the world), are deeply connected, they activate a strong and intense energy. What may have been revealed within us or to us through the Solar Eclipse could now be released with the Lunar Eclipse. Let’s pay attention to whatever came in our lives during this time, it might have occurred only on the inside, though.. What we’re learning might be quite challenging and overwhelming, but we are strong enough to face what is calling to be released.

The Pisces Eclipse will shed light on something reaching its end in our lives. Some doors need to close for a new chapter, a new cycle, to begin. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like it was our choice, but on some unconscious level, it still might have been. Now is the time to release what we are holding on to while knowing it’s an old system or pattern, comfort zone, or relationship no longer sustainable for us but maybe not the time to understand more deeply, but to accept what we already know...

The Pisces/Virgo axis is also about healing, receiving information through our dreams, and an opportunity to reconnect with our soul.

The Eclipse squares Uranus in Gemini, which can bring sudden changes, news, or even a breakthrough. This planetary energy doesn’t move slowly, so we can expect things to unfold quickly. We should expect the unexpected. And even if liberation can feel dizzying at first, giving in to what emerges might ultimately feel like a gift too.

Where is our faith when the world is going mad? We might struggle with our own beliefs, but we are invited not to let ourselves be absorbed by the world. Pisces asks us to surrender our fears and have faith in one another... to see the bigger picture and not act only for our own purpose, but to shine our energy out into the world, serving a higher aim than ourselves.

What are we gonna choose under this Eclipse: the noisy world or our ability to love… We are deeply invited to stand for Love, to illuminate around us and beyond.

I have been a little off social media this month, I needed some time on my own. Losing my dog is affecting me beyond anything I could ever have imagined, if you’ve been through the loss of a pet, or anyone you love, you know, even if we all have a different way of grieving…

I don’t remember the last time I’ve been through such a depth of pain and sorrow… not every day, well, yes, almost every day, but not every moment, I’ve had some laughs, nice times with loved ones, and little sparks of joy, but at some point in the day, the wave of sadness comes and takes everything away.

I always knew how much she was precious to me, our connection, mutual trust and all that was making our bond … But I’ve realised it went even deeper, she was a soulmate... The kind of soul you don’t meet many times in a lifetime. She was one of them.

And I will love again, anther dog or animal, new people entering in my life, but the way I love her is unique and I know will never experience anything similar and that’s beauty of it, but it breaks my heart in the same time…

Maybe I shouldn’t share my sadness here. It doesn’t exactly make me look cool. Some might say, “It’s just a dog.” And that’s okay, we don’t all experience love and loss in the same way.

I truly believe that there are no right or wrong emotions. They are all part of us, and allowing ourselves to express them, to feel, to be, is not a weakness.

I will be forever grateful for these ten years and few months of my life, I was so lucky to have her. That’s why the fall feels so wild…

Grief is love learning to live on the inside.

Maily taught me to let my soul take up more space in my daily life.. what a gift!

NEW MOON TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE IN LEO

Eclipses reveal what was once hidden. An eclipse might be intense, but we can see the eclipse as a powerful stargate!

Four planets are currently in Leo: Sun, Moon, Mercury and Jupiter. Leo rules the heart, our ability to show ourselves as we truly are, and our ability to shine. We don’t have to hide or to wait for permission, just be as we are, visible!

It’s time to release our old identity and old attachments that hold us back (the Sun is also who we are), let go of our need for validation, love and recognition, and sovereignty will naturally emerge. We cannot welcome change if we don’t make room for it. This eclipse is about surrender, transformation, and closing an old chapter of our identity. The best way to do so is to honour our truth.

This eclipse invites us to clean the space we live in, to create room for new possibilities to surface in our lives, getting rid of things we don’t need anymore: anything in our home that we no longer use or keep just in case we might need it, or because someone gifted it to us. All these stagnant energies block new things or new realities from coming in.

Change won’t come by itself, by magic, just because an eclipse occurs. We’re going to have to do the work. But the eclipse will reveal what needs to change. Are we ready to receive the insight? Are we ready for an event that might shake us?

That’s the magic of the eclipse portal: exposing what we were not fully seeing, or willing to see. It’s a gift that sometimes we are not totally ready to receive, but discomfort arrives so we can learn to navigate outside our comfort zone, and it will definitely be liberating.

So let’s not be afraid. Trust the process, stay open-minded, do the work, and enter the next chapter of our lives!

Little reminder: eclipses are not the time to set intentions or practise manifestation rituals. The energy is too chaotic.

FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS

What a strange and chaotic summer. I hope that, if you’re also going through a roller coaster like I am, you’re finding a way to stay connected with joy. Joy can exist even while we’re moving through wild emotions.

The Aquarius Full Moon asks us to explore our relationship with freedom. In which areas of our lives are we allowing the unknown to knock on our door? And where does it feel like the greatest threat? Perhaps there is something to learn from the places where the unknown challenges us. How can we accept our fears and learn to navigate in the dark?

This is not a Full Moon to seek validation from the outside, but to open ourselves to new and wider perspectives. Sometimes we make ourselves smaller to feel safe, yet beneath our fears and anxieties, something is still longing to be expressed. Under this Full Moon, we might feel the need to break free from what has been holding us back.

Let our inner rebel remind us that change always starts within. And when we dare to change ourselves, it naturally benefits the community around us. It’s like opening a path, awakening something that quietly invites others to awaken too.

As individuals, if we need to receive in order to feel complete, it means that we give from a place of lack. In doing so, we actually seek validation. This Full Moon asks us to see the bigger picture and to envision ourselves whole, worthy and enough, so that we can share who we truly are as a gift to our community.

Under this Full Moon, we could allow our emotions to challenge us. They are here to teach us how to become the best version of ourselves.

Freedom begins the moment we stop asking for permission to be ourselves.

NEW MOON IN CANCER

This New Moon invites us to create our own inner home and to nourish what we need from the inside, to stop expecting the world to feed us. We already have all the resources within.

Cancer energy is protective, but sometimes we hide behind the desire to stay independent, which can become a way of isolating ourselves. It might feel safer, but sometimes it’s also a way of avoiding our own and others’ emotions.

Tonight, we can name these emotions. We can look at them as parts of ourselves that need compassion and space to express their own language. We can tell them that it’s okay, that they are safe here, they are home. They are manifestations of old wounds, and being present with them is the best way to navigate with them instead of against them.

Tonight, let our hearts open and trust that our intuition will always guide us towards what feels like home.

Practice
Jupiter is trine Neptune during this New Moon, a beautiful aspect that invites us to dream big. The Universe is listening.

Set three intentions for what you would like to manifest in your life. Light a candle, write them down on a piece of paper, pour a small bowl of water and place the paper underneath it.
