Grannys Trip HandMade Jewellery & Accessories by Dimitra Mavrikou Dimitra Mavrikou is the designer behind the Grannystrip brand name, based in Athens.

After her studies on jewelry and metal design she started her own brand in 2009, when she launched her first collection “Lace Vanity”. Her references ranging from history and tradition to culture and fashion of the 60s and 70s are the inspiration behind the hand-embroidered, hand-knitted and crocheted pieces, that quickly became her signature. Using an interesting mixture of fabrics and materials,

such as metal and stones, she creates unique handcrafted statement jewelry. Grannystrip pieces are an ode to past era elegance with a strong aesthetic appeal and a modern take on cultural artistic tradition.
