Star and Silver Jewellery Design I've been making jewellery, using Sterling Silver and Gold, for over 5 years. Hi, and welcome to my page. I have been making jewellery for around 4 years.

I create unique items and collections, bespoke pieces and host workshops for you to make your own Jewellery. I'm Sara, I'm a jeweller based in the beautiful city of York, UK. I started after taking a class to make a fidget ring and felt like I finally knew what I wanted to do when I grow up! I have a little studio where I make my jewellery, but also run small workshops from, teaching people how to

make an item of jewellery, like a fidget ring, bangles, chain link bracelets and necklaces, silver clay earrings and more! I also take on commission work and bespoke pieces and many of my items can be made to size as required. Please contact me through my page if you'd like to know more about anything!

Are you someone who loves a bit of the yellow glittering stardust?
Its always been popular but, despite its recent hike in cost, has been gaining preference again, with people investing in a special item of jewellery that will stay with them for life, rather than fast fashion costume jewellery. It's nice to see.

Liver of Sulphur - we use it to darken Silver and make it look more aged. I've used it before on pendants and earrings but, I had a bit of time this morning and thought I'd test it out on some rings.
One of the good things about Liver of Sulphur is that you can get some lovely petrol colours. The down side is that its Sulphur, so it smells pretty bad - All windows open to get some air flowing! I loved the colours but, after wearing a couple of them today, I need to find a way to seal it so the colours last. Not such a problem on pendants / earrings .

A few action shots from last weekend's workshop for Allison's birthday, kindly shared to me by Gemma! I always get so into what we're doing that I forget to take a photos, so I always appreciate it when my guests are happy to snap and share!

We made 2 seaglass rings, a set of stacker rings AND a gemstone ring! (Of course I totally forgot to get photos of the finished jewellery)

Had a lovely day with you and your family Gemma, thanks for spending the afternoon with me (and sharing your photos!!)
