About Me!!

Hi, and welcome to my little Cakey venture. Sugar Gems is the manifestation of a long time hobby that grew and grew until it was all I did and thought about. I love beautiful Cakes and would spend all day everyday, looking at and playing with Cake, if I could. I’m obsessed with all the different mediums and tools you can use to create something and love trying out new techniques. But, alas, a Husband, a Daughter and four fur babies keep me on my toes for most of my time.

I aim to create some unique and special for you, whatever, the occasion whilst still staying true to my style. I am unable to recreate other Cake Artists work without their permission but can create something that incorporates what it is you like about the design you have seen.

Food intolerances and allergies can be accommodated where possible, I appreciate how difficult life can be with allergies as some very special people in my life have a daily struggle. I have a range of delicious recipes that can be gluten, dairy or even egg free but please be aware that although your product will be free from those ingredients, I work in the same kitchen that does use these allergens.
