Clasp had split and someone thought it be acceptable to use epoxy to hold it together.

Whilst it has done the job the idea of jewellery is to be a glamorous accessory and we’re not sure epoxy fits that bill 🫣
So we removed the old attempt at the repair ( not by us ) and done it correctly with solder and laser wire.
Now looking more aesthetically pleasing and a stronger repair. Sent home looking new🤩

Platinum ring in for sizing

Went up four sizes which is quite a jump for most rings, so stones/setting where closely monitored during the sizing and rechecked after sizing to make sure nothing had moved

Something a bit different on the bench recently. A roulette ring that actually spins, well It didn’t until we went to work on it.
The wheel handle had broke free and the wheel came off☹️

Built up the area holding the handle so this shouldn’t happen again. Now it’s free to spin away again🤩

The ring arrived to us in quite a bad way with parts of the shoulder missing and a very tapered and thinning shank.

We rebuilt the missing areas on the shoulder, then chopped the shank off ready to roll out a new one to take its place.

After filing grinding sanding buffing and polishing this is the end result🤩

Earrings came to us for a clean up as they where looking tarnished

The ring has been gold plated and looking stunning🤩

Ring rebuild

As you can see there are many damaged areas on this ring.
We rebuilt the areas in 9ct gold, shaped sanded and polished back to looking new
