One of my favourite moments in the electroforming process.
After hours of waiting while the copper slowly forms, it's finally time to peel away the protective latex and reveal the finished details beneath.
It's always a mixture of excitement and anticipation. No matter how many times I do it, seeing the final piece emerge never loses its magic.
Sometimes the most rewarding part of creating isn't making something newโ€”it's uncovering what has been patiently taking shape all along.

With another heatwave upon us, I thought I'd share a few simple ways to care for your jewellery during the warmer months.

Many of my pieces combine copper with carefully preserved natural elements, so a little extra care can help them stay beautiful for years to come.

โ˜€๏ธ Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, especially on windowsills or in hot cars.

๐Ÿ’ง Remove your jewellery before swimming, showering or bathing.

๐Ÿงด Apply sunscreen, perfume and lotions before putting on your jewellery, as these can affect the copper patina over time.

๐ŸŒฟ Store your piece somewhere cool and dry when you're not wearing it.

Some of my favourite pieces begin with the smallest discoveries.
This pendant brings together a clear quartz point, a soft green prehnite crystal, and a fragment of lichen, preserved in copper. Each element carries its own quiet character, coming together like a small woodland relic waiting to be discovered.
I love creating jewellery that feels as though it belongs in a cabinet of curiosities, treasures inspired by the natural world and the stories it quietly tells.

I wasn't expecting to find this today.
A whole gathering of cinnabar moth caterpillars happily feeding on the ragwort in my garden.
It's amazing how quickly we can walk past something like this without ever noticing it.
Sometimes the smallest discoveries are the ones that stay with us the longest.
